Focus Forward Counseling is a premier center for counseling services in Alpharetta, GA. We also offer counseling services in Cumming, GA. We ensure the highest standard of care for all of our patients and work together as a team to find the best treatment option for each individual and his or her needs.

We don’t take a cookie-cutter approach to counseling. We believe each person is unique and has a different story to tell, and we truly listen. We ensure each of our patients are always cared for by a licensed professional. We start with having an open and honest conversation about any struggles a patient is facing to help match him or her to the professional who we believe can offer the most support to them. The patient will then have access to that professional to schedule directly with them.

We operate as a treatment team

Each individual is unique, which means his or her treatment plan is also special. While forming a relationship with a counselor and being able to go to them for support can be enough for a patient, there are times when a patient can benefit from the shared wisdom of other counselors. While we may feel that there are instances when a patient may benefit from this, we will be sure to discuss it with him or her and have them make the decision to want to potentially involve another counselor to ensure a more successful treatment.

We leave the decision-making to the patient. While we believe in working together to find the best outcome for each of our patients, we always value ethical behavior and confidentiality above all else, which is why we involve the patient in important decisions about their care.
