I believe that understanding yourself is often the first step toward meaningful change. When you or your child is struggling with attention, learning, social communication, behavior, or other challenges, it can be difficult to know what is really going on or what kind of support is needed. Psychological assessment can help bring clarity to those questions. My goal is to make the evaluation process thoughtful, collaborative, and approachable while helping clients better understand their strengths, challenges, and individual needs.

I provide psychological evaluations for children and adults with concerns related to ADHD, autism, learning and academic difficulties, emotional and behavioral functioning, and diagnostic clarification. I take a comprehensive approach to assessment, considering the whole person and the context in which concerns occur rather than relying on test scores alone. I believe an evaluation should provide more than a diagnosis. It should offer meaningful insight, practical recommendations, and information that can help guide treatment, academic supports, accommodations, and other next steps.

My clinical training has provided me with experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across a variety of settings and presenting concerns. I have developed particular interests in psychological assessment, ADHD and autism assessment, and understanding the ways psychological functioning can intersect with academic, athletic, and professional performance. My background in counseling psychology and sport allows me to bring a strengths-based perspective to assessment and consider both the challenges clients are experiencing and the resources they already possess.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Montevallo, my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Georgia, and my PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Georgia. I completed my APA-accredited predoctoral internship at the University of Michigan, where I further developed my clinical and assessment skills while working with diverse populations and presenting concerns. Through my training and professional experiences, I have developed a strong commitment to providing thoughtful, culturally responsive psychological services and helping clients feel understood throughout the assessment process.

I currently provide psychological services under the direct supervision of a licensed psychologist while completing the requirements for independent psychologist licensure. I look forward to partnering with you or your family to better understand what is going on, identify strengths and areas of need, and develop a clearer path forward.
