About Me

Helping people work through life's challenges and find healing and growth is what drew me to counseling. I believe therapy is a collaborative process where you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to listen, support, and guide you through whatever difficulties you may be facing.

As an Licensed Professional Counselor and National Board Certified Counselor, I earned a master's degree in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Georgia and a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Berry College. I am also a Certified Anger Management Therapist.

My practice includes individuals ages 7 through adulthood, with a particular focus on children and adolescents. I have experience helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, ADHD, behavioral and emotional challenges, family and relationship concerns, and self-esteem. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming environment where clients feel understood, build confidence, and develop practical tools to navigate life's challenges.

Working with children and adolescents is one of the most rewarding parts of my practice. I enjoy meeting young people where they are, using creativity, curiosity, and humor to help them feel comfortable and engaged in the therapeutic process. Building trust takes time, and I believe genuine connection creates the foundation for meaningful change. Parents appreciate that I provide practical strategies they can use between sessions, helping reinforce progress and support lasting growth at home. I also value partnering closely with families while helping children and teens develop confidence, resilience, and healthy coping skills.

My approach is flexible and tailored to each person's unique needs. Whether we're working to manage stress, strengthen communication, improve emotional regulation, or gain clarity during life's transitions, we'll work together to identify strategies that fit your goals and circumstances.

Continuing education and professional growth are important to me because they help me provide the best possible care. If you're looking for a therapist who offers empathy, encouragement, and a judgment-free space, I'd be honored to work with you.
